STAS is built to help you learn — not to do your work for you. Here is our commitment to honest learning and how our AI is designed around it.
Learning first, always
Every STAS feature is designed to build understanding. The Homework Helper walks you through problems step by step instead of just handing over answers, and the Writing Helper coaches your own writing rather than writing it for you.
What STAS will not do
STAS declines to produce finished work meant to be submitted as your own — like a complete graded essay. When you ask, it will instead help you outline, understand, draft, and improve your own work.
Follow your school's policies
Every school and instructor has their own rules about using AI tools. You are responsible for following them. When in doubt, ask your teacher whether and how you may use an AI study assistant.
Using STAS the right way
Use STAS to understand concepts you find confusing, to check your reasoning, to prepare for tests, and to organize your time. Treat its output as a tutor's guidance — something to learn from, then apply in your own words.
Our promise
We will keep designing STAS to reward genuine learning, and we will keep listening to students, parents, and educators to get this right.
